Smithville ISD's Technology Department supports cutting-edge learning and hands-on experiences for students by providing the hardware, software, and network infrastructure needed to support teachers and staff. Aligned with the mission of SISD, the IT Department is dedicated to enhancing academic performance through immersive technological education, and services the over 4,000 devices used on all the SISD campuses.

SISD's Acceptable Use Policy, for download, below, describes the technology policies in force for students in the district. A letter to parents is included, which explains the roles and responsibilities of the students when using district technology resources.
