We are proud to share that two of our Smithville High School students, Junior Raya Powell and Senior Jade Elam, have been chosen to participate in the Bastrop County Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday Commission Program on Monday, January 15th. The county-wide program will be held in Smithville this year, starting at the MLK Park. The walk will end at the Smithville Rec Center, where our students will have a chance to share "What does MLK Day mean to me?"
