At the May School Board meeting, the Board voted unanimously to support the promotion of Ms. Holly Brockman to the position of Principal at Smithville Elementary School. Ms. Brockman brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to educational excellence to her new role.
With over 20 years in education, and having served as Assistant Principal at Smithville Elementary for several years, Ms. Brockman has consistently demonstrated strong leadership qualities, a dedication to student welfare, and a passion for fostering a positive learning environment.
“This transition marks a significant milestone in my career, and I am excited to take on this leadership role,” said Brockman. “Every child deserves a high-quality education in a nurturing and supportive environment. I am committed to ensuring that Smithville Elementary continues to be a place where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.”
In her previous role, Ms. Brockman has proven her ability to collaborate effectively with staff, parents, and community members, and has been instrumental in driving positive change within our school community.

As Principal, Ms. Brockman aims to continue building upon Smithville Elementary's strong foundation while introducing innovative educational practices that will further enhance student engagement and achievement.
