Our 4th graders had a fun surprise on Friday! The Smithville Noon Lions Club showed up with 130+ dictionaries and passed them out to each student. Superintendent Burns took them through a quick lesson on how to use the dictionary, and then they all wrote their names in them. They were all very excited to have their very own dictionary!

WEIRD SCIENCE! The 4th and 5th grade students have been conducting some fun experiments to learn about the properties of matter and chemical reactions. 5th graders created "Elephant Toothpaste" and Ms. Brockenbush's 4th grade class conducted a science lab on mixtures and solutions.
