COVID-19

Smithville ISD will use the following guidance to help determine if a student or staff member should stay home due to symptoms related to COVID-19.  Please reach out to your child's campus nurse if you need further clarification.

PLEASE NOTE: SISD will no longer provide COVID testing onsite.

Smithville ISD COVID-19 Guidance. Does your child have covid symptoms? Yes - take covid test-. Positive test -> Student must quarantine for minimum 5 days. May retrun to school after 5 days, or once fever-free for 24 hours (whichever is longer). Negative test -> return to school once fever free for 24-hours. ***there will be no household quaratine, no negative household members can report to school as usual.
