Superintendent Burns expressed her unwavering commitment to SISD, stating, “My sincere appreciation to the students and parents that I was blessed to serve, early in my career to present. As I leave the position I ask that the district continues to put students first and serve each other to insure that the community continues to meet the needs of new generations. I know that I will continue to work hard for the district until the day I officially walk away.”
