[Smithville, TX] – Smithville ISD is pleased to announce the appointment of Stacy Tiner as the new Business Manager, effective Monday, March 3rd. Stacy brings with her 18 years of experience in finance, along with a wealth of knowledge in administrative roles. Her background includes an Associate's degree in Business Administration, providing her with a solid foundation to effectively manage the district's business operations.
Previously, Stacy served as SISD’s Assistant Superintendent's Secretary for five years, where she gained invaluable insight into the inner workings of the district and developed strong relationships with staff and community members.
“We are thrilled to have Stacy join the leadership team,” said Superintendent Cheryl Burns. “Her extensive experience in finance, combined with her familiarity with the district’s operations, will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen and improve our business functions. We are confident that she will be a great asset to our team and to the community.”
As Business Manager, Stacy will oversee the district’s financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting, ensuring transparency and accountability in all financial matters.
Stacy will begin her new role on Monday, March 3rd, and looks forward to contributing her expertise and working closely with the district’s staff, students, and families to further the district's mission.
