These SISD teachers and paras are Turkey Trotting to the Top! Throughout the month of November, the administrators have been checking in on teachers and awarding them "Gobble Champion" if they are actively teaching their students and following the TEKS (as required by the Texas Education Agency). Each of these champions will be entered in a drawing for prizes at the end of this week!

Mrs. Bishop’s 1st grade class became engineers in their class and built an obstacle course to explore force and motion.
The last chance for senior and underclassmen portraits or retakes will be held in the library on November 12th. Seniors need to sign up in the library and underclassmen will be called. There are order forms available in the high school office for 9th-11th grade students.

🎃🎨 Pumpkin Decorating Contest Success! 🎨🎃
This year’s Annual Pumpkin Decorating Contest brought serious style and creativity to the cafeteria! With a majority of locally-grown Texas pumpkins, our staff and faculty created some festive masterpieces—from spooky to sophisticated, quirky to classic! 🌟🧡
A big thank you to everyone who joined in the fun, voted, and helped make the cafeteria look its fall best! These pumpkins were truly something to gourd over. 🍂👏#farmfreshchallenge
Our 1st Educational Farmers Market was a huge success!
We had local participants from The Smithville Farmers Market , the Women’s Cattle Assoc and Labatt food service.
Our elementary students enjoyed listening to music while
Learning about local produce, fruits, meat and home made products.
